We are a small, independent consultancy specialising in policy and practice for the historic environment. We have grown by developing our own areas of expertise, guided by a clear conservation ethos.
Our wide-ranging work includes -
- policy, research and strategic advice for major public sector organisations
- helping to achieve sustainable futures for specific historic buildings and areas
- conservation plans, management plans and statements, including historic building analysis
- conservation planning/listed buildings advice, including enabling development, and related public inquiries
- assessment of historic areas, including characterisation and appraisals, and monitoring grant schemes.
We work throughout the UK, and beyond. Our clients range from government and public bodies to private owners and developers, and include English Heritage, the Heritage Lottery Fund, the National Trust, local authorities and charitable organisations.
